hi, i have installed open suse 10.2 in my desktop pc also have windows xp sp2 loaded.


hi, i have installed open suse 10.2 in my desktop pc also have windows xp sp2 loaded.also i have the dial up gprs modem for internet connection , i can connect to internet in windows xp but i cant do the same in opensuse 10.2 , i have tried dial up tools such as kppp ,kinternet, and also wvdial but all give the same error that modem hung up ,i have checked the gprs settings and is working for windows but not for linux the error log is something like this

Are you hooked to a network? If so you need to change your "IP up" and "IP down" conf. I cheated on mine and did a new install with the network unhooked and setup the internet dialup first then hooked up the network. I can't help you past this with the remedy except to "Google".
