The closest i get is where the printer warms up - and in the printers display it says "printing" .. but no paper comes out. and in my ubuntu printing util it says job done , .. but nothing is printed . plzz can someone help me out here.. im really stuck. best greets/ Lindis |
This is for the 200L. Maybe it will work with the 200s too
http://www.openprinting.org/show_dri...-e-Studio_200L Be sure to look at the "How to install" link. Edit: Sorry. I forgot you had already tried the 200L driver. |
Did the manual have a web site listed for the multiprinter? What type of connection does it have to your computer? How did you try to install the different drivers? What where the names of the drivers?
The multiprinter hardware could be incompatible with Linux. Have you used it with Linux before? Was it automatically detected? |
Well this is what i tried and what happens

it is connected with usb and it is found with ubuntu print util. i have been trying to change drivers within the printer config tool - system-config-printer 1.1.3 for cups .. also tried installing the deb pak from the site you mentioned.. tried all listed ones from toshiba .. only thing that happens is printer "warming up" and "printing" in the display of the printer .. in ubuntu it shows the job in the queue and that job was finished .. but no paper feed or actual printing.. i have not used this one in ubuntu before .. tnx for answering. |
