hey i am not able to mount usb pen drive
 

hey i am not able to mount usb pen drive.although i am using kernel 2.4.18 the one with red hat 7.3 valhalla release. i think it must work out but it dosent. i am able to mount my camera (canon coolpix 2200) at usb portbut am not able to mount the usb pen drive.camera was automatically detected by kwikdisk i thought things would be the same with pen drive but tnings really didnt work out . yes the pen drive is being detected by usbview but iam not able to mount it .plz help me out .

if you wana mount your pen drive

mount -t vfat /dev/sd0 /mnt/pen

before mount you have to create a directory named pen in /mnt. you can change it as your wish. i just give you an example.

if it doesn't work, change sd0 with sd1 or sd2 or sd3 or sd4, ... i think it should work ...
