I'm trying to setup dual monitors for my laptop using MergedFB the laptop screen in a 15.4 inch widescreen(@1680x1050 resolution) and has an ATI video card. the external display is a 17 inch CRT. I'd like to just have a Clone of my laptop on the external monitor, but I get this "scrolling" effect where i have to move my mouse around to see different parts of the screen if it goes out of range. can anyone help me fix this? I've already read the popular guides/tutorials on dual monitors.
running Ubuntu dapper
