Help with an Epson NX400 on Ubuntu

ive looked everywhere, and i cant find anything that helps. i have looked on the Linux database and downloaded something that was said to allow Ubuntu to run my new Epson NX400, and i tried it, and the printer wont respond to my computer, or vise versa. can someone help? does anyone know of a driver i can install for this to work? i have a report due monday and i NEEED this printer working!!!

There are several versions. You would need to use one of DEB packages. Are you running a 32 bit system or 64 bit? Just be careful to select the correct version for your version of Ubuntu.
