Help needed with WiFi

Hi,

I have Acer Extensa 5220 laptop with Artheros AR5007EG Wireless Network Adapter. I have recently installed fedora 8 and my wireless adapter is not working with it, the same adapter is working fine with windows.

Fedora 8 seems to have identified and installed driver for my adapter but its not working at all, not even the light of WiFi is blinking.

When I try to restart the WiFi service it ends with the following message

Error for wireless request "Set Mode" (8B06) :
SET failed on device wlan0 ; Invalid argument.
SIOCSIFFLAGS: Invalid argument

Determining IP information for wlan0...SIOCSIFFLAGS: Invalid argument
SIOCSIFFLAGS: Invalid argument

Following is the output of sbin/lspci
