Help for Linux Newbie, Logitech MX610

Hi,
I'm a Linux total newbie and I've just installed Madriva 10.1 PowerPack. I'd like to know if I can use my wireless mouse, a Logitech MX610. It did work during the installation progress but now I'm having to use my PS/2 Touchpad.
As I said, the mouse is wireless and plugged via USB.
Is it possible to use the special functions buttons (back/forward, volume up/down...) too?

But the problem is that the mouse is not even detected. I can't use it all!
It doesn't detect the mouse to be plugged. What is it?
