Help Changing Video Cards

Ok im new to linux but i can manage my way around.. i have one problem though, i cant figure out how to change Graphics cards in Slackware Linux. I have a i810 onboard graphics card that my Comp boots with and then when it gets to windows it will swicth to my Geforce. Since my comp boots with the onboard thats what linux starts on. Is there a way to swicth it to my PCI Geforce w/o using the BIOS cause if i change it on the BIOS i get a BIOS beep code error. Thnx

you will have to edit your XF86Config file in the /etc/X11R6 directory. NVidia's website should have information on what type of settings to enter.
