hd partitioning
 
i am currently dual booting, but now that i have discovered the joys of vmware, i have no need for windows takin up such a large chunk of my internal hd....i would like to know if there is anyway i can shrink that partition(hda1), and then format it reiser, so i can use it with my linux(suse93)???or do i hafta start over fresh and do a reinstall?

qtparted can modify the size of an ntfs partition.

parted can as well, but the gui version is must easier to understand.

Yast can also shrink that ntfs partition (though it may not be stable???from what i understand) but can i then create an extended partition with that free space???
