Question Having trouble with 82845G/GL [Brookdale-G] Chipset using Slackware 10.2

Hi guys! (Browsing with lynx, cause X won't work!)
I've tried just about everything. Here's the deal. I compiled a new kernel in hope for this thing to work.
Im running a 2.6.13.3 kernel, and I put in the chipset to be run from the kernel, not as a module.
I run xorgsetup and X won't start. Here's my error message.
(EE) I810(0): No Video BIOS modes for chosen depth.
(EE) Screen(s) found, but none have a usable configuration.
