Having trouble installing canon lbp7100cn on Manjaro

I've been having a hard time trying to get my laser printer to work with Manjaro, it works fine on Linux Mint.
I've installed cndrvcups-lb-bin 3.31-1 from Aur repository but my printer is not listed, I've also tried with the official canon drivers (Linux_UFRIILT_PrinterDriver_V130_uk-EN) and tried to install from the sources but i can't pass the make file, when i run make gen as directed in the read.me i get the following error:

/usr/lib/libgmodule-2.0.so.0: error adding symbols: DSO missing from command line
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
make[3]: *** [Makefile:446: cngplp] Error 1

I'm not sure what to do, any help will greatly appreciated.
