hard to add second HD for raid 0 after linux is installed?
I just built my first computer, and I'm going to run only Linux on it (not sure which distro yet). I have two SATA drives, which I want to run in raid 0, but I forgot to get a cable to connect the second HD. So, I was wondering if it is difficult to add the second HD after Linux has been installed, or if I should just wait until I get the cable to install Linux? Thanks
bwalsh; by all means get that cable (sata) & avoid problems. have read that raid (via ide) is tricky unless ur familiar with setting up raid. advise read up on raid howto within LQO-HOWTO,s good info about raid. reading
as much as possible has got me this far without problems(major). take heed! none the less go for it & do a good job (as i know u )can.
