I was thinking of buying this external serial modem, can anyone confirm that it works with Mandrake 9.1 OR Red hat 8? I have finally given up on the USR5610B after it got fried by lightening just after i got it working, bad luck huh ? Anyway since this is a external serial modem it should work right? Both Mandrakes site and Red hats site seem to deny it even exists :-/
