GRUB Raid problem on Fedora Core 4

Hi people.

Have a problem on getting the FC4 to boot on my raid controller.

The installation finishes quite well, and when it gets to boot, it says "error 17" - which should be it cannot recognize my HDD?

As i recall, my 2 disk's, which are SATA, was choosen as 'sda' and 'sdb' in the installation.

I checked my /boot/grub/device.map and it contains the following:

(fd0) /dev/fd0
(hd0) /dev/sda
(hd1) /dev/sbb

IS anything wrong?
How i done it the wrong way.

Cause when i choose both disk's in the installation to be installed on, shouldent it be installed as raid? Because it does find the raid array, else it woudent find them as they are set up to ray.

Really need help here, i am a newbie on linux.
