Graphics Mode Display Problem

Hi All,
I have installed Linux Fedora Core 5 on p4 with GGC101 intel Motherboard but i am unable to bring system into graphics mode. If I type 'startx' or 'gdm' or 'kdm' the screen goes blank and stay as it is(blank!). please tell how to bring graphics mode display for my Linux system, mail this to
