Graphics card - TV out

I have a Diamond V550 graphics card with TV-out, and was wondering how I can enable the TV-out feature under Linux?

I'm running a Mdk 8.2 box....

Any pointers would be appreciated. Thanks

Check out the xinerama stuff. You could also give your tv-out display a separate screen in your XF86Config. Never done it myself (NVidia GF2 myself), but have read other's stories here about it.

i wouldn't recommend xinerama. it's annoying, and afaik cripples viode play back etc... it should be straight forward on just a normal dual head config, but i don't have any actaul experience of it.. ask in two months and i plan to have tv-out coming out of my ears. not literally of course. that would be silly.
