Got nvidia drive in right but now my TTY's go fuzzy when X loads.

Kubuntu Lucid Lynx (10.04)
64 bit Sony Vaio model VPCF115FM
GPU is a 330M

Problem: TTY's work fine until X loads those nVidia drivers. Then they get really fuzzy as if being viewed through radio interference.

What I could really use is a solid troubleshooting methodology as I've tried about a ba-zillion things and can't be sure at this point what I have or have not tried.

If you have the driver installed and the nvidia-settings manager installed open the nvidia settings manager from your Kmenu
and set up the correct resolution test it then save it.
