good use for LCD monitor

I have a very nice LCD computer monitor, but could not think of a way to use them since I don't have a desktop computer anymore.
I was trying to use it as a TV monitor, but it seems like I have to invest on TV tuning device.

I happen to have a Tivo which can be use as a TV tuner, but cannot figure out how to get the Tivo output to the LCD monitor.

Has anyone tried to do a similar thing or have any good idea for putting this LCD monitor for a good use?

Well, you can connect any device to a monitor if you have a VGA converter, but it sounds like you want to avoid buying anything; in which case there isn't much you can do. Without a device to convert video output (composite, S-Video, component, etc) to VGA, then you can only use VGA capable devices with it.

If you have no use for an otherwise perfectly good monitor, you might consider donating it to a charity
