Cannot configure display mode correctly.

Not at all (as in not loading the desktop and X11/Xorg bailing out to the console with an error message) or not correctly (as in a display mode that looks kind of warped)? Are you sure you selected the right driver (Intel)?

I found out that the video card was detected incorrectly.
After i corrected it all is fine.
