getting gentoo to mount a scsi cd burner

Hi all,

I have a scsi cd-burner, the kernel recognizes it and is capable of using it (all modules and whatnot are installed). I need to configure /etc/fstab, there's no entry for the burner yet. My question is, what is Gentoo's naming convention for a scsi device? I don't know what the device name is, or how to find that out. This is a pretty simple problem, please point me in the right direction.
Thanks!

Should be /dev/scd0

Less likely, you would possibly have to use /dev/sg0 or /dev/sda.

These are Linux standards that are independent of distro.

If you intend to mount that burner frequently, make a symlink from /dev/cdrom to /dev/scd0 and just use "/dev/cdrom" in fstab, this is kind of the way things are meant to work and it looks a little nicer.
