I thought you said it was already working for root? If it was, then the firmware didn't do anything.

The one thing I forgot about last night was that changes to the group file don't happen immediately. You have to logout and then log back in before the system recognizes that you have been added to a group.

Yes I knew that about being added to groups. -I was not getting a picture as root, the program would launch though.
