Gentoo 2004.1 need to detect promise Raid

Hi Guys,

das someone here know how to get an (pseudo)Hardware-Raid Controller like Highpoint or Promise get to work with Gentoo 2004.1? While booting with Kernel-Arg "doataraid" it detecs none of these Controllers and a "modprobe pdcraid or insmod pdcraid" doesnt return anything to me. (Modules where present!)How is it possible to get my "/dev/sda" or display with "cat /proc/scsi/scsi" after booting for an install? Gentoo only detecs the drives as on a standard-controller due to the pseudo-raid but i need them to be managed trough the scsi-way as an raid....

I hope you understand my buggy english

Yours,

Daniel
