Genius Ergo 525

After my MS Intellimouse Explorer broke (again), I decided to buy myself something else this time. I returned home with a Genius Ergo 525, which is a good mouse, basically.

The mouse has a lot of buttons, but most of them are XF86Audio buttons, like Volumeup and Volumedown. They are recognized as such too, so everything works. The mouse-resolution changer works, the wheel works etc. Expect for the tilt wheel. I can't get that to work.

I set Buttons "7" in xorg.conf (three normal, two wheel vertical, two wheel horizontal), but xev doesn't even show something when I tilt the wheel.

Does anyone else own this mouse and got it to work, or does anyone have tips to get this to work?
