I reinstalled linux after my pc kept crashing for some stupid reason. While crashing my FX worked quite nicely. When I went to reinstall linux with the gentoo 2004.1 livecd, that's when I noticed my screen would blank randomly, then go back to normal. Sometimes 3 times in a row, other times nothing for 10 minutes. So I figured it was the 2004.1 installer that wasn't coded properly for my fx, then after not being able to install since my network wasn't working, I decided to install slackware to which I would get 2004.0. The problem is, off the default install of slackware, I get the same results in console (haven't gotten X to work yet). It will blank for a couple of seconds (2) and go back to normal. Has anyone encountered this problem?
