GeForce 9600 S-Video during installation

Hi all,

I'm going to set up a Linux Media Centre with an old Pentium III from work. I've bought a GeForce 9600 with a S-Video out from eBay.

Now my question: Will the S-Video output work during the installation process so that I can I use my TV as a screen? I only have a laptop at home and really don't want to carry the screen home on the train if I don't have to.

I don't think so. It depends on the distribution you are using, but probably not.
