Hi kuroiokami, Welcome to lq. Could we also see lsmod please? Have you tried running alsaconf?
Good luck. ;-)

Looks like all the modules are loaded. Instead of alsaconf, try sudo alsaconf. You may also want to have a look at alsamixer. There are also some module options you can pass here.
Good luck. ;-)

jCash 03-15-2008 06:07 PM

I have the same problem. Any updates on how to get the sound?

Peacedog 03-15-2008 06:22 PM

Hi jCash, What card do you have, are the modules loaded, have you tried a mixer?
Good luck. ;-)

Try running a mixer as in, alsamixer, kmix, aumix, etc. Looks like the modules are loaded, you may just need to unmute your sound. If that doesn't work, post some more information about your system, i.e. laptop/desktop, model, manufacturer, etc., output from some of the other commands listed above.
Good luck. ;-)
