i have a problem with gaim sounds with my sb live!, when it plays sounds for gaim, at the end u hear a click, which really irritates me, but it only does it when outputting to alsa or oss, not when using arts, but i don't like arts cuz it slows sounds down and also makes them sound bad, i figured the problem to be taht the file is sent to alsa and the alsa connection is closed before the whole file gets there because the file is so small, is there any option to add to aplay or mplayer to keep the connection open for a little longer to play the whole sound, or am i gonna have to add blank spce to the end of all the files?
