G-Reaver Mouse not working at all on Mint 13
Hello everyone,
i'm new to this forum, as i have been trying other forums and i found this one with a lot of info in it the past couple of days.
My problem starts when i bought a new gaming mouse, called G-Reaver (by team scorpion, China). Great mouse for the price. It does work perfectly in Windows XP (notebook). But i have problems when connecting it to my Mint desktop. It does not work at all.
The mouse has some lights on it, and those work, so it's receiving energy but it's not being detected by the OS.
Will show you some info about it:
Quote:
OS: Linux Mint 13 (Maya) 32 bits - Desktop edition (Cinnamon)
Kernel: 3.2.0-26-generic
CPU: AMD K8 Athlon 4600+ @2.4GHz
RAM: 2 Gb DDR2 @ 800 MHz
HDD: WD Caviar blue, 320 Gb @ 7200 rpm
Mother: MSI am2 + nForce 410 (GeForce 6150)

Code:
$ lsusb
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 002 Device 009: ID 24c9:1006
Bus 002 Device 003: ID 1532:010b Razer USA, Ltd
Bus 002 Device 010: ID 062a:327c Creative Labs
I think my mouse is "Bus 002 Device 009: ID 24c9:1006", because the Razer it's my keyboard (arctosa) and "creative labs" it's my wireless mouse that i'm using until i get the g-reaver working.
Code:
$ lsusb -v -t
/: Bus 02.Port 1: Dev 1, Class=root_hub, Driver=ohci_hcd/8p, 12M

/: Bus 01.Port 1: Dev 1, Class=root_hub, Driver=ehci_hcd/8p, 480M
A friend told me that 480M it's a bus transfer property from usb 3.0, but my mouse is 2.0 so i don't know what's going on with this, seriously, no clue.
Code:
$ xinput --list --short
⎡ Virtual core pointer id=2 [master pointer (3)]
⎜ ↳ Virtual core XTEST pointer id=4 [slave pointer (2)]
⎜ ↳ Razer Razer Arctosa id=10 [slave pointer (2)]
⎜ ↳ MOSART Semi. 2.4G Wireless Mouse id=11 [slave pointer (2)]
⎣ Virtual core keyboard id=3 [master keyboard (2)]
↳ Virtual core XTEST keyboard id=5 [slave keyboard (3)]
↳ Power Button id=6 [slave keyboard (3)]
↳ Power Button id=7 [slave keyboard (3)]
↳ Razer Razer Arctosa id=9 [slave keyboard (3)]
↳ G-SPY USB Gaming Mouse id=8 [slave keyboard (3)]
Look at this, G-SPY USB Gaming Mouse should be refering to my G-Reaver, but it's recognized as a keyboard (???) Hope someone will understand what's going on and how to fix it, because i have no clue at all.
Thanks in advance :)
