I found two cards within my price range one is BFG Asylum factory oc FX 5200 256 MB coreclock 280 mhz the other is a
BFG factory oc FX 5500 128mb but has a coreclock of 290 mhz. I don't play any games just want the one that is best suited to
Mandriva 2006. My old HP computer is about to go belly up and a video card is all I need to get my new one up and running. I know both cards are low end but $50 or $60 is about all I can afford righ now. I can upgrade later. My new computer is as follows

Asus K8V-X 754 MOBO
AMD Sempron 2800 64 bit cpu ( still running 32 bit )
512 MB pc3200 ram
400 watt PS

im using a nvidia fx5200 128mb ram card and its just fine, i play the add games and it handles most to about a medium setting. It will play perfectly fine if you urn the really fancy effects of like bloom and things. It wont play doom 3 with full specs turned on, but it will handle low-medium ok. Its an alround performer, good for its price
