fstab-sync: error: libhal_ctx_init_direct: (null): (null)

Does anyone know what the message in the subject line means? It happens when I try to run fstab-sync. Also, the hald fails to automount my devices. What could be my problem? I have hal-0.5.2-2 (fedora). Should I try the latest CVS or is it just a config error? (I did not (consciously) change any config files related to hal).

Re: fstab-sync: error: libhal_ctx_init_direct: (null): (null)

I just received the same error

Running FC4 on an x86_64 system

Tried to remove partition via qtparted. I'm assuming (now) that I needed to run umount before running this. Just assumed qtparted would take care of that type of stuff for me.

What can I do to recover from this?
