Have you tried searching this website or the internet on how to mount a FAT32 or windows filesystem instead of just bumping your thread? This is a frequently asked question on this site.

The correct filesystem syntax is vfat not VFAT. Options are not valid for all filesystems. See man mount pages for details. With a FAT32 filesystem using the umask option will allow users to read/write. umask=000 allows all users read / write permissions.

Thanks dude but my usb hardrive works fine with the same parameters and ..... it's a FAT32 too
By the way as you seem to be so smart the psp FS is FAT16 ... sorry to teach you a thing... and I know that vfat works for both so keep this answer for someone else
I tried the umask, the gid, the uid and other ...
event the automatic detecion (by ubuntu) is wrong and I can't write on it (in root of course)

Don't be so I-know-everything-about-everything it kills linux to my opinion
you should learn humbleness from the ubuntu community...
regards
