Frozen no-name HDMI dongle with Linux 3.0.36

About a week ago I bought this no-name HDMI dongle to connect to wirelessly with my tablet. However, it very quickly froze and right now is only showing one single image on any TV I try it with. When I connect it to my computer (Windows) it shows up as "rk2928sdk". My question is can I restart (so to speak) or revert the dongle to its factory state using some computer tools? I don't want to send it to the manufacturer.

This has been done by a moderator. Sorry. So, can anyone help? It would be very easy if it was an Android device. But it's a Linux device so I don't if I can do everything using some console or other software. I also have no access to firmware from the manufacturer.
