Freeze on reboot with no keyboard installed!
Hello,
I'm having some problems with 3 PCs with the exact same hardware configuration running on Fedora Core 2 with all software updates installed.
When I try to do a reboot using the “reboot”, “shutdown –t3 –r now” or “init 6” commands everything shuts down but the system hang on message “restarting system” just before the restart normally occurs.
The problem only happens when no keyboard is installed! I boot the machine without a keyboard since it’s installed in a rack… Everything boot normally with no error messages.
The motherboard used is a Chaintech MPM800-3 with the latest BIOS and a P4 3ghz 800fsb.
Anyone has the same problem or knows how to fix this?
Thanks a lot!
