framebuffer support
OK i need to figure out how i can set up and enable frame buffer for my laptop so hopefully the lcd would work.

where are you trying to do this??? presumably you are what.. trying to configure a new kernel??? please give LOTS of information. if you are onh a ew kernel, make sure you ghave the experimental options enabled in the very first config section. if it's a lilo thing, add vga = 788 to /etc/lilo.conf in the right place and run lilo
