I am running a Foxconn 661M03c-6L motherboard with Fedora 4. When I ask the computer to reboot it shuts down ok but then hangs rather than restarting the boot process. I previously have used this board with Windows98/2000 without this problem.
I have several other Foxconn motherboards. They all have the same problem. They reboot ok with Windows O/s, but will not reboot with Fedora 4.
Shutdown seems ok.
I am now using this machine for a server and need to be able to occasionally reboot remotely. (
although Linux seldom needs reboots
Is it a BIOS setting I am missing, or is there some other fix/setting.
Thanks in advance for any help.
