Fortemedia FM801 card not working under FC5 on Intel 845 but working with windows
 

Hi all,
Iam a relatively old to linux(for about 3 years).There was a power failure and screwed my system for ever. I have my system its configuration as

Intel 845 Mother board
256 MB RAM(once 512 MB one card died due to power failure)
LG Monitor
Intel 2.0 GHz processor

and I have inserted FM801 based audio card. Before power failure everything was working fine. So after that I realised some of my components got corrupted. So I tested and found one RAM card burnt. Then I installed FC5 on my system but the audio was not working properly I could noise form my speakers. I searched my old windows 2000 professional CD and intalled but in windows 2000 my audio work fine. Now That I have shifted to my new place its taking some time to get internet access. Is there any thing that I can do so that my sound card works. I cannot post /sbin/lspci. Please help.
