floppy drive problem + ASUS motherboard


Hi

I have ASUS P4S533MX board and Intel 1.8Ghz with redhat linux 9 (kernel 2.4.20).The whole system gets freeze when copying files more than 400K size ot "when using mformat a:" either in terminal or xwindows mode.I updated the BIOS to latest also but till the problem exists.

Can anybosy guide on ths?
