Angry Floppy Drive Icon Missing

I have just installed a Floppy drive on my SuSE9 system, when I open the GUI there is no floppy icon, I have mounted it in the console and can then read from it in the media/floppy folder without problems but as soon as I reboot I have to mount again in console. Why does my floppy icon not appear on the GUI Screen?
Many thanks Nigel

Check where the floppy icon is pointing, and make sure that the floppy is mounted in your etc/fstab file which will reload it on reboot.
