Firewire IPOD Not Detected

I recently purchased a 4 Port IEEE 1394 400 Mbps PPA Inc. Firewire card. It works fine under Windows. Under linux, however, my IPOD will not appear as an SCSI device after I run rescan-scsi-bus.sh. However, the IPOD is listed under /proc/bus/ieee1394/devices. Would anyone know how I could access the IPOD?

/proc/bus/ieee1394/devices:

What modules have you loaded? You need sbp2 loaded as well as ieee1394 and raw1394 and... I think one other, regardless, the top one is sbp2. Then check "dmesg" for a device scan that sees the drive... or really, re-run the rescan script and then check dmesg for a /dev/sda

Cheers,

Finegan
