Firewire in Suse 10.2

Is it possible? How do I enable it? I connected external drive through Firewire to motherboard Intel. Running Suse 10.2. What do I have to enable in Suse to make Firewire work? ( Nothing happened BTW ).

Firewire

Hello Pumalite,

Can you tell me which device you're trying to use (type;brand;model)? I have problems with a REV-drive under Firewire but it seems the driver is giving problems and it has nothing to do with the Firewire connection.

Greetings,

Ronald
