Find Monitor Refresh Rate

Hello,

I used a Bootable CD to guess what the refresh rate on my monitor is.

Is there a command once Linux is running that will tell me the rate that is curently being used?

I lost all the old paperwork for the monitor.

Thank you in advance
Philip

I would say do a google search for your monitors specs, and adjust your X configuration accordingly...don't just guess...

You could probably find it in your CD-distro's xorg.conf file and note it for use in your HD's configuration.
