Fedora Core 4 External Hard drive on FC5

I have recently upgraded from FC4 to FC5. My external hard drive which has all of my work on it was used in FC4 and would automatically be recognized by my system. Now when it is pluged in I get Error mounting disk and error mounting disk ntsf, errors for both the windows and the Linux partitions of the hard drive. How do I Mount the drive so that I can read it again.
