Fedora 15 mount problems

Running Fedora 15, GNOME, 1GB RAM, INTEL pentium II processor

I have been having some issues lately regarding:

*The auto-mount feature for USB drives

*Mounting a second hard drive as a slave

I have installed the hard drive correctly as a slave. It should be a blank disk. I cannot find my current hard drive either, using fdisk or anything else.

Help is greatly appreciated.

Fedora, in their infinite wisdom, require root privileges to access tools such as fdisk - either su to root or try
Code:
su -c "fdisk -l"
You'll need the root password in either case.

Wierd... I just tried this last night and it didn't work. How strange that it works now.
