Question FC4 not detecting my modem Generic K56

Hello Everyone!!!

First of all i m really very happy to install Fedora Core 4. It is simply "Great".

Currently i m facing only one problem that it is not detecting my modem, although i've checked it is properly inserted in its slot. I've tried to connect to internet 4 or 5 times but in vain. It is saying that it cannot activate my modem.

Can anyone help me!!

Thanks in advance.

I think you must be a bit more specific on the make and type of the modem.
