fat32 partiton cant see it


hallo all

i have 2 hard disk one a 10 gb which has linux installed on it and it is the master

and another 80 gb hard disk which is devided like so:

60 gb: ntfs windows on it

20 gb: fat 32

now i want to move some files from my linux hard disk into my fat 32 partiton
but where is it? why cant i see it?

please help

Are you using Linux or win2k to back it up. You can only backup you're linux files if you are using some form of linux that will recognize ext2/ext3/ReserFS/etc.

Most likely it's already mounted... use:

mount

from a terminal and find the mount point for /hdb Most likely /dev/hdb2. Could look something like this:
/dev/hdb2 on /mnt/windows

/mnt/windows would be the mount point to copy your files too...
