fasttrak 378 +suse 10
 

First off, yes i did use the search function, but the only thing i found did not help lol.

Ok i have a sager 9890. All attempts to identify the mobo manufacturer have failed. I just know it has the intel 915p chipset.


I am using the fasttrak 378 driver as a raid config. i have windows on a partition already. When trying to install suse 10, it says that it cant find any drives, obviously because i cant see the controller. So i loaded it up, hit f3 and tried the suse 9 drivers. Didnt work. i called promise, and they said to contact my mobo manufacturer to get the drivers because they dont make drivers for embedded controllers.

If anybody has a sager 9890 and knows there mobo manufacturer, please let me know, or if you know a solution to this,, please ehe thanks.

Unfortunately there isn't a lot about the chipset in these listings. That's probably due to it being a notebook computer.
