Fast Ethernet PCMCIA card under 2.26 core

I have just installed Fedora with 2.26 core on my laptop (pretty old: Toshiba Tecra 8000) and I'm having problems with configuring my Fast Ethernet card (Planet CardBus 10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet). System recognizes the card as Realtek RTL8139 but already by starting the system displays a message "Device is busy". Does anyone know how to solve it?
Alternetively can someone recommend any not expensive card with which there is no such problem under linux?
Thanks
