External USB hard drives works with Linux?
the external USB hard drives works with Linux?
I mean: all the USB hard drives are the same for Linux or maybe some works and others not? |
there are always likely to be exceptions to the rule, but the vast majority of drives will just provide a scsi device for you in /dev as normal without any real hassle. note that it's not the drive, but the caddy that does the deal, so as long as you have a good caddy, you'll be laughing.
