EVGA GeForce 8800 GTS 320 mb video card compatibilty question

Anyone else here use one with Linux? I tried out LinuxMCE and most of my problems with it seemed to be video card related.

It had trouble deciding wheich of the two monitors attached to use and most of the time I just got stuck with a blank screen at bootup and a lot of hard drive activity...

Just wondering if I need to buy a different video card to get it to work...

Thanks for any help!

geforce, linuxmce, video
