Evga e-geforce 7200 GS won't work with the nvidia drivers
Hi!
Just purchased (most of) a new system and compiled some extra parts to form a brand spanking new dual-core AMD64 system.
So far, everything is working like a champ. Except video, that is.
The video card is an Evga e-Geforce 7200 GS PCIE with 256 on-board RAM.
The OS is Debian Lenny (Testing) for AMD64, the weekly build for this week.
I'm trying to get openGL going (3D hardware if I can). The EVGA site doesn't have any Linux drivers available. So, going by the "Powered by Nvidia" label blatently posted on the box, I went to Nvidia's site and tried their driver. X stays blank and the monitor enters powersave mode.
I'm really not sure how to proceed. Has anyone else had experience with this card?
EDIT:
PCI ID: 0000:000:05.00, if it helps any. It's an "nVidia Corporation Unkown Device 01d3 (rev a1)" according to lspci.
